Shauna Lake Drunk Driving :
- In the month of March 2017, Shauna came into the limelight for something other than her news program.
- When she got off from work, she had some alcohol (above the permissible drinking limit) & got behind the wheels for heading back home.
- In the midst of her journey, she was pulled over by the cops and was arrested for drinking and driving. Later, she was pardoned in lieu of a penalty.
- The incident created a ruckus among her fans, most of whom were livid at her irresponsible behavior, but there were also some who supported and forgave her.
- Later in the day, Shauna issued an on-air apology on the 5 PM news show where she accepted her mistake and asked for forgiveness from her viewers, colleagues, and her family. She was crying the whole time during her apology.
- Unfortunately, two years later, in March 2020, she was once again arrested and received another DUI.

- Lake is a two-time honorary of Utah Broadcasters Association for her work with Wednesday’s Child. She has recounted each of her interviews in it as memorable. She is always excited about working with young people.
- She says that her singing has been called many times “good” by her family and co-workers!
- With beautiful blonde hair, she also has grey colored eyes.
- Shauna’s ex-husband Todd was sentenced for assaulting co-anchor Mark Koelbel in August 2017. The judge ruled that Todd should live with the consequences of the assault for the rest of his life, calling the action unacceptable and embarrassing.

We ALL have our own issues we have to deal with in life…DON’T WE? You have been a long time friendly face I and many others have seen for a long time. Get help that you need and most important, take care of your inner self and love YOU! Those of us who aren’t perfect appreciate you(that’s a lot of people).
She does a great job! I have met her at charity events. And she was really lovely! It’s hard to drink anything at all in Utah and NOT get a DUI. So people should be more forgiving of what happened. I always tell my employees, you can point fingers as soon as you are perfect. And it builds a good morale, for all to remember none of us are perfect. And we all need to be more forgiving and accepting of one another. I hope Miss Shauna is doing okay and will be back soon!
I have no problem with people who drink alcohol as long as they do it responsibly. When people drink and drive then I have a lot of problems with that. It is against the law, it’s dangerous to you and all other people on the road. People who drink and drive are very self-centered people.
As a news person, you tell people to not drink and drive at least every holiday. Young people look up to you. So how do justify drinking and driving and showing that you can talk the talk but sure can’t walk the walk? A great example for the youth you are. Surely as a news anchor, you can afford to call a cab to get home when you have been drinking. You just think that is for the masses

If you have a problem with alcohol I hope you choose to get help for it because in not only affects your health but the lives of your kids and relationships with others in your life. If you decide not to get help, please don’t drink and drive. My husband of 24 years was killed in a vehicle by a young 19 year old guy in 1969. I don’t know if it effected his life or not but it changed my life and my son’s life (4 months old) forever! I’m not judging you, I think you’re an amazing person who I’ve watched on the news for many years and would like to see you again. Take care
