Sarah Spivey is an American meteorologist and news personality who works for KSAT-TV in San Antonio, Texas. She also plays music and performs publically at various music festivals and local events.

- Sarah Spivey is the daughter of parents – Rhett Spivey (father) and Debbie Spivey (mother).
- She spent her childhood living with her parents, and her sister Kaylee, in San Antonio, Texas.
- As a child, Spivey enjoyed writing poetry and was a Harry Potter fan.
- Sarah began struggling with hearing loss from an early age, being diagnosed with cholesteatoma, which is a swelling and bursting of the eardrum. Though she went through several surgeries to regain her hearing, it was to no avail.
- In September 2019, Sarah got engaged to a guy named Michael Bringardner. A few months later, they got married. Prior to her marriage, Sarah used to live with her pet cat Norah.

- Spivey attended Clark High School, where she discovered her love for science and performance.
- Her high school teachers guided her in choosing meteorology as a career path, prompting her to study at Texas A&M University, from where she received her degree. She graduated in 2015.

- Spivey’s introduction to the TV world came while she was still in college, during an internship she secured at KBTX.
- Post studies, she worked in North Texas and Southern Oklahoma before moving back to her hometown San Antonio, where she currently still works and lives.
- In 2017, Spivey began working as a meteorologist on KSAT-TV, where she works on the morning weekend slots, as well as a few weekday evening slots. She helps out with weather segments when the regular weather forecasters are absent.
- Besides forecasting the weather, Spivey does small video segments in which she discovers interesting places to visit in Texas. This segment is called Texas Travelin’.
Fun Facts, Height and Trivia :
- Sarah is hard-of-hearing and has been since early childhood. However, she did not have a hearing aid until 2017. She clarified that getting one has considerably improved her quality of life in a Facebook post.
- As hearing aids are expensive and are therefore often inaccessible for those in need, Spivey strongly advocates people to support non-profit organizations like Aid the Silent, who give financial aid to children and teenagers who require hearing aids.
- It was through her job at KSAT-TV that Spivey realized that she would benefit from a hearing aid. The studio has communication systems between the on-air reporters and the producers, which are run through small microphones placed in the reporters’ ears. Through this device, Spivey had a small taste of how to hear people properly – prompting her to get a hearing aid.
- Spivey uses her love of music to help fundraise for those who are hard-of-hearing, performing at events such as Good Vibrations Music and Art Festival, whose profits are donated to Aid the Silent.

You said have not seen weather this bad since 1989. Well, in 1985 it snowed two feet of snow…because of that, I meet my husband the day after the snow. We were married 25 years until he passed away.
