- Parents : Her father, Jamir, was born in India but raised in Pakistan, and their mother, Nishat, was born and raised in Karachi, Pakistan. The Siddiqui parents immigrated to the U.S. a few decades ago.

- At 13-years-old, Sabrina decided that she wanted to be a journalist. At the time, she was writing short stories for fun, and one day wrote a Bollywood movie review that she distributed to friends and family. One such family member was a journalist living in London who was impressed with Sabrina’s work and encouraged her to keep on writing.
- Sparked by the encouragement, Sabrina began freelancing for the (now defunct) online news outlet, DesiClub (targeted mostly at South Asians). At the same time, she acted as the editor for her high school newspaper.
- In 2008, she went on to earn her Bachelor’s degree from the nationally-ranked Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois.

- At 24-years-old, Siddiqui began working as a freelance journalist for Bloomberg News, reporting specifically on the White House.
- Spanning over the next few years, she also served as a research assistant at the National Pharmaceutical Council, and as the Editor in Chief of the South Asian news network, Divanee.
- In 2012, Sabrina joined The Huffington Post as a congressional reporter. Again, covering the White House, she was a member of the traveling press during the 2012 Presidential race, following the Mitt Romney campaign.
- After three years with The Huffington Post, she moved over to The Guardian in 2015 to work as a political reporter. Again a member of the traveling press, Sabrina, followed Marco Rubio on his campaign and Hillary Clinton when she was named the Democratic presidential nominee.
- In December 2016, Sabrina wrote and published the op-ed, “Reporting While Muslim: How I Covered the US Presidential Election.” In it, she candidly revealed how she was both confronted and comforted as a Muslim during the race and discussed how she felt when former President Trump proposed the travel ban on Muslim countries.
- Well respected in her field, Sabrina has been a contributor on CBSN; an analyst on MSNBC, CNN, BBC and Sky News; and a contributing host on The Bill Press Show.
