Ruthie Polinsky is an American journalist who works as a sports anchor for NBC6 and mostly covers high school football. Ruthie worked as a sports anchor and reporter for WPRI until joining NBC6 in March 2020.

- Ruthie was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, on January 23, 1993. She was raised in St. Louis, Missouri.
- Both of Ruthie’s parents were sports fanatics and they would often go to stadiums to watch games of St.Louis teams. Ruthie was raised along with her two sisters.

- Ruthie studied at the University of Michigan, from where she graduated with a dual degree in Communication and Drama in May 2015. While in college, Ruthie made her return to her home in St.Louis during summers where she spent three years working as an in-stadium host for St. Louis Cardinals and as a member of “Team Fredbird.
