- Later that same year, in October 2018, it was announced that Pippa would move once more, from The Guardian to the Daily Mirror. In December, she joined the ranks of the Daily Mirror in her current role as Political Editor. She thus replaced Andrew Gregory, the Daily Mirror’s former Political Editor, who departed to the offices of the Sunday Times.
- The Guardian announced on Tuesday 10th May 2022 that Pippa Crerar will be appointed as their new political editor. Pippa succeeded Heather Stewart, who had held the position since 2016.
