- Nora is a native of Portland, Oregon. She first came to her current workplace at Fox 12 for career day in high school.
- As a child, she had to do an essay on her future dream job, in which she mentioned she would like to be a news anchor for Fox 12!
- Although she spent a little time away in Texas, Nora is now glad to be back home.
- Nora and her husband, nutritionist Derich, have a Chiweenie pup named Celine, who is named after her favorite celebrity musician.

- Nora graduated from the University of Oregon where she earned a B.A. in Journalism. She then completed her M.S. in Business Management and Organizational Leadership from Warner Pacific College. Her achievement at accomplishing her goal of becoming a news anchor was speedy.

- Growing up in Portland, Nora had concerns that everyone she knows might be critiquing her broadcast, yet she is thrilled to be back home where her heart is, in Oregon.
- She embraces the beauty, community originality, and innovation of the region. She states that she didn’t appreciate all that Portland had to offer as a child and remembers motor home camping as a young girl because tents were ‘just not her thing.’
- She enjoys thrift shopping along the coast or at the Portland Saturday Market and traveling.

- After graduating from college, Nora took up a position in Abilene, Texas, with KRBC as an anchor, correspondent, and producer. Her writing, editing, and managing of KRBC social media also included producing a weekly health report called Nora’s Heart File.
- Hart, who joined the Fox 12 news team in 2014, has been the weather forecaster and anchor. She has maintained her sense of style and beautiful smile despite infrequently reporting outside the station in adverse weather conditions. Her interviewees say that Nora is the best at keeping the flow feel natural & at interacting with her viewing audience.
- Nora also emceed the 22nd annual American Heart Association’s Heart Ball in Downtown Portland, helping to raise more than $800,000 in the fight against heart disease and stroke.

- When she returned to Oregon, leaving behind the delicious barbecue and fried foods of the Lone Star state of Texas, Hart made small healthy changes which she encourages her viewers to make as well: More varied grains, once or twice weekly servings of fish, less red meat each week, avoiding canned or high-salt and processed foods, and minimizing saturated fats.
