Personal Life, Parents and Family Details :

Neda was born in Southern California on May 19, 1980. Although she lived in California for a while, she attended high school in Dallas, Texas.
In November 2017, Neda got married to a police officer named Chris Rice, whom she met through a mutual friend Amanda. Besides being a police officer, Chris was working as a security guard at a nightclub, where Amanda was a bartender.

The couple had dated for five years prior to their marriage & purchased their 1st home together in La Jolla.
Rice popped the question to Neda after she had completed three marathons around Lake Tahoe in the space of 3 days.
She shared the story of their relationship and engagement on a bridal blog called The Bridal Guide.

In February 2019, Neda gave birth to her baby daughter, Roya. In Dec 2019, Roya had minor surgery at Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego to remove a small growth on her left hand. It was a harmless procedure and a preventive measure to avoid potential future issues with nerves.
In May 2023, Neda and her husband welcomed their second child…a young baby boy, Ramin, into their world.

Neda attended the University of Texas at Austin and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in General Finance in 2002.
She also took part in a Spanish Study Abroad Program at the Universidad Veritas in Costa Rica.

Neda’s career began in 2002 at KSWT-NEWS 13, where she worked as a photographer, anchor, producer, reporter, sportscaster, and weathercaster.
She then moved to Reno, Nevada, where she worked as a weathercaster, morning anchor, and reporter for KTVN Channel 2 News.

After a little under five years, Iranpour left KTVN and joined the CBS Sacramento team as a weathercaster, nighttime reporter, and anchor. She worked in Sacramento for five years before leaving for San Diego in 2014.
Neda worked as a CW6 Bay City Television weathercaster, reporter, and evening anchor. She also found time to start her own website called Lighten Up With Neda, which focuses on well-being, fitness, and general health. Despite being a busy news reporter, she still manages to keep the website running.
She has also had brief stints as a weathercaster, anchor, traffic, and general reporter for both KPIX CBS5 in the San Francisco Bay Area as well as ABC 10 News in San Diego.

For the last few years, Neda works as a news anchor, weathercaster, and reporter for CBS8 in San Diego.
Additionally, since November 2018, she also works as the Morning Reporter, Anchor, and Weathercaster for TEGNA.

I love watching you doing your news stories. Congratulations on your 2nd baby. You look so beautiful and I love how you put your hand on your tummy loving your newborn to be. A lot of women while working don’t touch their tummy as not to bring attention to it. But you share your love. Keep doing you in all you do.
