Personal Life, Parents and Family Details :
- Natalie, born and raised in Pittsburgh, has two other siblings (Joseph and Lauren Herbick), both younger than her. She accredits her determination and work ethic to her mom Lisa Ann Herbick, who taught her never to give up and to keep following her ambitions.
- Unfortunately, in March 2019, Natalie lost her mother to ovarian cancer. Post her passing, Natalie posted an emotional tribute to her mom on Instagram.
- In February 2023, Natalie revealed she had been diagnosed with Ductal Carcinoma In Situ (DCIS), a noninvasive breast cancer. Following the announcement, she took a break from FOX 8. The doctors gave her an excellent prognosis. Early detection played a crucial role in Natalie’s positive outlook, and she emphasized its importance. Some women have a fear of mammograms, but Natalie encouraged them to prioritize their health. Because of a family history of breast and ovarian cancer, Herbick had always been proactive, scheduling regular mammograms since the age of 37. She decided on a five-year course of Tamoxifen, a drug blocking estrogen’s effects, and chose to freeze her eggs before starting the medication to preserve her fertility options. Herbick returned to work 2½ weeks after the mastectomy, showcasing a remarkable recovery.

- After graduation, Herbick stayed on at CBS Pittsburgh to work full-time. Her first role was as a reporter for their sports station on the show Steelers Saturday Night.
WTOV9 :
- Herbick then moved to Ohio, where she started working for WTOV9, a local TV station based in the small towns of Steubenville and Wheeling.
- There, she not only anchored three evening newscasts but reported live on-site and produced some of the station’s news segments.

Several coaches and school officials who tried to cover up the crime were charged, and the judge faced backlash for what people believed was his light sentencing.

We have enjoyed watching David and Natalie on TV 8. They make an excellent team. We wish they would return to the field, visiting places of interest.
Since the pandemic, many business owners have been trying to do their show, while David and Natalie stay in the studio, rather than actually on-site interviews and visits, as they did previously.
I live near Cleveland and these pics of Natalie don’t do her justice. She is gorgeous. I sat near her at a club once and she had on a peach colored dress and she looked terrific!
