Ottawa native Melissa Lamb discovered her love for broadcast journalism by accident after completing her undergraduate degree.
She did not let that stop her, though, and as a result, she worked many for CTV News, one of Canada’s leading news channels.

Apart from being a TV host, Melissa is a sports fan, both watching and playing. Currently, she is dating a Canadian professional footballer.

After living in a rental for a few years, Melissa and her family moved into their first purchased home, in early 2021. It is a Mattamy built in Summerside South in Orleans.

After high school, Melissa attended the University of Ottawa. There, she pursued her Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature.
In 2007, Melissa went back to school to pursue a postgraduate certificate in Broadcast Journalism at Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology in Toronto. She graduated in 2008.

TV Career, Job, Salary and Net Worth :

Melissa’s career in television began in 2006 when she worked at a local program as a reporter. She even got the opportunity to cover the Stanley Cup Finals. This was when she decided to go back to school to pursue a career in Broadcast Journalism.
After completing school in June 2008, Lamb worked at CHEX TV in Petersborough, Canada. There she worked as a lifestyle host for a show called Newswatch. She was also a sports anchor and videographer. Melissa worked there for almost two and a half years before leaving in October 2010.
In October 2010, she moved back to Ottawa and began working for Bell Media as a TV Host and Weather anchor for CTV Morning Live, a four-hour-long talk show program. She still works there now.

Melissa has hosted several events, including Stepping Out 2017 in support of Dress for Success Ottawa in June 2017.
She also hosted the BE YOU event at the St. Laurent Centre, in Ottawa, Canada, in September of 2016 and 2017 in support of the non-profit organization – “Big Brothers Big Sisters Ottawa.”
Unfortunately, she was let go off by the network in November 2017, after a restructuring move.
