- He began his career in July 2009 working for the Business of Sports Network as a staff writer. During his time there, he analyzed and covered various aspects of the sports business.
- It wasn’t long before his talents caught the eyes of several networks and while working in Upstate New York, he was offered an opportunity to switch career paths.
- His new path began in Batavia, New York where he landed a role as a play by play broadcaster for the Batavia Muckdogs.
- Five years later, Coller would relocate to Minnesota and become the Owner and Managing Editor of the Hockey Prospectus.
- Coller was also able to use his writing skills to produce analytical articles as well as write detailed scripts for sports podcasts.
