- Marina Jayne Berry was born on January 16, 1985, in Hertfordshire, England. Born to parents Colin (father) and Sandra (mother), she has a younger brother named Jonathan.
- After first meeting him at BBC Radio in 2003, Marina married her long-time partner (and fellow TV presenter) Justin Dealey on September 29, 2018. The couple now lives in London.

- Born for a life in the arts, Marina began dancing at 2-years-old and spent eight years training at the Lila Vincent School of Dance. Although most of her experience was in classical ballet, she is also trained in tap and street dance.
