From 1997 to 2004, Lucy Noland worked at Fox 2 affiliate. From 2004 to 2007, she hosted “Good Day New York.”

In July 2006, news anchor Lyn Brown retired from WNYW-TV, leaving Lucy Noland to become the news anchor for Fox 5 live. She stayed there till March 2007.

Noland once experienced inappropriate behavior from news directors, who went as far as asking about her bra size. This incident following the birth of her last child, while she was nursing. A news director in Detroit summoned her to his office after the morning show and inquired about the duration it would take for her physical appearance to change and specifically asked when her size would become smaller!
In November 2017, Lucy encountered intense pain during a live news broadcast, pushing through until she had to stop due to dizziness and shortness of breath. Admitted to the hospital, she received pain medication and underwent tests involving contrast cocktails. Despite uncertainties about the cause, Lucy expressed gratitude to Iain Page and the FOX 29 team for their support during this health challenge.
A big Star Wars fan, Lucy fondly reminisces about her childhood excitement watching “Star Wars: A New Hope” and a recent visit to Walt Disney World’s Launch Bay, where she received a hug from Chewbacca.

Race is not determined by the particular location of the piece of dirt you were born. I’d worry less about other peoples races, and pick up a book, or should I say Google something!

I’m going to miss Lucy Noland.compared to other news anchors she had a way of making the news interesting and relevant. She dudn’t just read from a Telepromter but looked right into the camera and talk f to you as a friend! I”ll miss her.
