- Because her university did not offer a sports radio course, Hamilton proposed her own course to a local radio station. They accepted, and she spent the next years studying as well as working at the station, meaning she worked seven days a week – even during thanksgiving and Christmas. Now, with her studies behind her and working her dream job, Lindsay’s day doesn’t end till 2-2.30 am.
- One of Hamilton’s many goals (from her notebook, which is full of them!) is to encourage more women and girls to play and engage in sports. She feels that sport is a great way to build character and that it affects all areas of life, therefore being important that all members of society have the opportunity to access it.
