After some initial work with ABC network, Kerri moved to WTTG-TV in Washington D.C., where she helped launch the news helicopter in the DC area.

While at WTTG-TV, she covered top stories like the Monica Lewinski scandal and also introduced Al Gore’s for a summit at the White House.
From 1999 to 2002, Kerri Lee worked with Fox Boston, anchoring their 10 p.m. news. Her stay in Fox Boston saw her covering events surrounding the 2000 Presidential elections, a very tasking ordeal.
A few months later, the tragic bombing of the World Trade Centre towers on September 11 saw Kerri at the forefront, together with operatives of Federal Emergency Management Agency, FEMA. This act of reportage from Ground Zero earned her a National Headliner’s Award.
