Kaylee Wendt was a Meteorologist/Multimedia Journalist (MMJ) at WIVB/WNLO-TV in Buffalo, New York. She worked on the network from March 2016 to February 2019.

- Kaylee says she was born into “the most supportive family in the world.” She has an older sister named Mindy, whom she counts as her best friend.
- Originally from Lockport, New York, Kaylee was a student of Starpoint Central High School and graduated in 2014 from College at Brockport – State University of New York with a Bachelor of Science. She majored in Meteorology and minor in Broadcast Meteorology.

- In 2013, she was a weather intern with three companies– one with NBC 2 WGRZ-TV in Buffalo, the other with ABC 9 WSYR-TV & the last with ABC 13 WHAM-TV.
- Before she graduated, Kaylee received an offer to become a Weather Producer for ABC 13 WHAM-TV. She remained there for two years and four months until February 2016. While she was employed there, Wendt was the On-Air Meteorologist for the Henrietta area & later transferred to cover Rochester for ten months.
- She took a short break until she found a job with WIVB/WNLO-TV (LIN TV Corp) in March 2016 as a Meteorologist/MMJ on “Weekend Wake Up!” together with anchor Ali Touhey. She was a replacement for Don Paul.
