- Kasia is a middle child and has two siblings – An elder sister and a younger brother. As a kid, she had a mushroom cut and had boyish looks.
- Bodurka first began her journey into higher education at the University of Ottawa in 1998.

- Bodurka began her extensive media career at Chex TV, a small station based in Peterborough, Ontario, in June of 2003. There, she worked as a community events bulletin host and ran a show called Discover Durham, which focused on community features and events.
Stint at Rogers TV :
- In September of 2004, Bodurka began her work with Rogers TV, a group of channels owned by Rogers Communications that broadcasts in New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Labrador, and Ontario. Bodurka worked at the Ontario station.
- She began as a news and entertainment videographer and reporter. There, she generated story ideas, conducted on-air interviews, and operated the camera equipment.
Daytime :
- In January of 2005, she became a host and associate producer of Daytime, a one-hour lifestyle show that aired every weekday. In January of 2009, she was promoted again and became a promotions producer. She also began hosting a second show, Durham Destinations.
- Later, she stopped hosting Daytime and Durham Destinations and began to focus her attention on a new position with The Weather Network.

- In July of 2011, however, she left that too and became a full-time anchor and reporter for The Weather Network.
- There, she reported non-scripted weather information, attended meteorology briefings, and reported on-location about storms and other weather-related phenomena.

- Bodurka left Canada in March of 2015 and headed down to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where she took a new job as a travel and brand TV host, as well as a live presenter.
- She conducted hour-long presentations on-air for luxury brands such as Rolex, Breitling, and Effy, and also presented to audiences of anywhere from 500 to 1000 people. Bodurka did all of this while on cruises or at cruise-related events.
The Shopping Channel :
- In July of 2016, Bodurka put her seafaring days behind her and used her strengthened public speaking skills to become an on-air expert at The Shopping Channel.

Kasia just suggested she was 17 in 1997 on today’s Global news. I just about shit and came here to see if I heard right…I would have guessed 30ish…a couple of years ago I had a job at Global renovating their head office and for a few months shared my breaks with Globals staff in their cafeteria. I must say that she is just as lovely off the air and in person as she is on air…and no I couldn’t find her D.O.B. there as well.
Pretty unbelievable how hysterical the media and some people out there are about the weather these days. We finally get a few days of beautiful summer weather and the media is warning us we could be getting weather alerts because it may be only 25-28C next week and into the long weekend. LMFAO!!! Come on folks, calm down. It’s called summertime finally.
