- She was a co-host for OHL on their Peel Sports hockey show, which covered all news related to the North Bay Battalion and the Mississauga Steelheads. She also covered the CHL Memorial Cup in 2011.
- The same year, Kara joined the TSN team in Toronto and worked as a sports editor for the station’s Sports Centre newsroom.

Regarding the Jays; yes, I agree with Kara that the team needs to make a big acquisition if they are to reach the World Series. I also think they need more pitching – starting, middle relief, and definitely another closer. I just hope they aren’t peaking too early, as it is only July.
