• Kara is originally from Houston & she currently resides in Dallas. Her parents celebrated their 47th Anniversary in 2023.They had a secret wedding at a Justice of the Peace in Odessa, TX.
• The oldest of 3 siblings, Kara is also the shortest amongst them. All the siblings share their birthday on the 23rd of different months.
• For more than a decade, Kara is married to the love of her life Nick, a morning news editor and a former photojournalist. The two met while she was working in Odessa, Texas. Nick celebrated his 40th birthday in 2019, and the couple attended Disney World’s Magic Kingdom to celebrate it.
