Pls pass this on to Jessica Camerato:
FYI, the only reason that Corbin is still with the Nationals is that his contract says the Nats owe him $50 million for the next two years. He has a sweet deal. It would be nice to put him on a bus for the border in Texas and put Fedde beside them. I have seen more use for a screen door on a submarine than either of these two on a pitcher’s mound. I have been around for double Jessica’s age, have seen the BROOKLYN Dodgers play in Ebbets field over 100 times, and the old NY Mets at Shea over 200 times.
I have lived in the DC area since 1969, suffered the losses of the Senators (twice) to other venues, and have been a Nationals fan since opening day, 2005. My wife and I even attended the exhibition game against the Mets THE DAY BEFORE the official Opening Day at RFK in 2005. True, they had some pretty bad years, but then came the good ones, only to be ruined by the Learners, who were only in it to get WS rings (which is now clear). Maybe Leonsis can get the winning attitude back. I have suffered too much and have less than 20 years to go to make it to 100. Thanks for listening.
