Jason Goff is an American sports radio host and producer. He currently works for SiriusXM Big Ten Radio.
Personal Life, Parents and Family Details :
- Elsworth Jason Goff was born on November 8, 1980, in Evanston, Illinois. Despite people knowing him by his middle name ‘Jason’ Elsworth is actually his first name.
- Jason was born to parents Elsworth C Goff (father) and Beverly A Goff (mother), who were both born in Belize. Thus, Jason and his little sister, Shaina, are both first-generation Americans.
- After meeting in 2001, Jason began dating his long-time girlfriend, Nicole Tucker.
- They got engaged in 2016, & soon the couple gave birth to their first child, a son named Jace.
Early Life and Education :
- At just 11 years old, Jason knew that he wanted to work as a radio host. As a child, his parents listened to talk radio — sports, societal and political — and he fell in love with how the hosts could reach their listeners.
- As a teenager, Goff grew more inclined to the idea of a sports radio host. Although he was not an athlete himself, he was very much into the numbers aspect of sports, especially basketball and football.
- He was a regular caller into The Score radio show, so much so that he became known as “Jason from Evanston.” He even went as far as to ask the station for an internship but was told they only hired interns with college credits.
- After attending Evanston Township High School, Jason went on to Southern Illinois University (SIU).
- After just one year at college, he grew eager to begin his career and again asked The Score for an internship; this time, they said yes, and he left SIU to begin working.
Career, Job, Salary and Net Worth :
- Shortly into his internship at The Score radio, Jason was hired full-time in 2000. He eventually landed a producing gig for Terry Boers and Dan Bernstein’s afternoon show, often joining them on the air for discussion.
- After 12 years with The Score, Jason moved to Atlanta to be an evening host on WZGC FM sports radio. At the same time, he began hosting shows on SiriusXM satellite radio.
- Jason returned to his roots in 2015 and re-joined The Score in Chicago — this time as a host alongside Matt Spiegel in the 9–1 time slot.
- In 2017, Terry Boers retired, and Jason took over the afternoon spot with Dan Bernstein.
- In March 2018, it was announced that The Score was letting Jason go.
- In October 2018, Jason joined the newly-launched Big Ten Radio on SiriusXM — a position that he still holds.

- In his personal life, Jason is quite close to his family. He has his mom’s name tattooed on his wrist, and on his Instagram profile, he identifies as “Shaina’s brother” and regularly gushes about her in his posts.
- Although he loved sports, Jason admits that he was too small through high school to excel as an athlete. It was not until his senior year that he hit a 6” growth spurt.
- Before becoming a host at The Score, Jason took steps to try and prove himself within the company. He started covering the Chicago Bulls home games for free.
