- Gloria Riviera was born and raised in Idaho to parents – Daniel Riviera (father) and Charlotte Riviera (father).
- After growing up in Idaho, her parents enrolled her in a boarding school in New Hampshire. It was there that she learned the fundamentals for her undergraduate education to come.
- Gloria attended Princeton University for her undergraduate degree.
- She later completed her Master’s degree in Journalism from New York University.
