Dr. Erika Navarro was an On-Camera meteorologist working for The Weather Channel in the Greater Atlanta Area. In early 2019, she headed to work for NASA.

- Erika grew up in Piscataway, New Jersey. Her experience there made her love the outdoors. She has been a lover of nature ever since she was a young girl.
- When she was 12 years old, Hurricane Floyd hit her hometown causing much destruction. It was then that she developed an interest to understand why and how it happens.
- In October 2012, Hurricane Sandy hit again and destroyed the coastline area that she grew up in.

- In January 2014, she worked as a Student Athletic Academic Services Tutor at the University of Washington up until June 2014.
- Thereafter, in August 2014, she started working as an Independent Contractor for The Weather Company again for a period of one month.
- In December 2016, Erika headed to work with The Weather Channel in the Greater Atlanta area as an on-camera meteorologist.

I always wanted to see her feet; they were surely very pretty!
I miss Dr. Navarro on TWC, also; however, I’m always glad to see someone move on to a better job, especially if it’s something they want and like more. More power to her at NASA and I believe NASA was lucky to get her.
Can anyone tell me what Dr Erika is doing at NASA and why she was hired? I am impressed with her and enjoyed watching her on The Weather Channel and was disappointed when she left. Curious about what she is doing.
I missed Erica Navarro, I keep saying to my husband I never see her anymore. She is really good saying about the weather I love her beautiful black sparkling big eyes. Now I know, Congratulations for her working to NASA.
I am really disappointed that Dr. Navarro has left the WC.
