- In 2012, she was assigned to be the weekend news anchor/reporter at the same network. In 2013, she became the morning anchor/reporter there, co-anchoring the 4:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. weekday newscast.
- In January 2015, Emily started working for KXTV/ABC10 in Sacramento, California, Area as a weekend anchor and multimedia Journalist. Here she reported the 5 p.m. 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. broadcasts up until January 2017.
- Later, Emily moved to KMOV-TV, a CBS affiliate network based in the Greater St. Louis Area, Missouri, as an anchor/ reporter. She worked there for three years.
