On 23rd June 2017, Elise tied the knot with her fiancé Andrew Carr in a colourful wedding graced by their family and close friends at the All Saints Church in Sherbourne, Warwickshire.
This was followed by a reception at Swallows Nest Barn, Sherbourne. The two then proceeded on their two weeks honeymoon to Mauritius at the delightful Ravenala Attitude Hotel & Spa.
Besides work, Elise has taken part in the Great Midlands Fun Run event. The event aimed to raise money for a worthy local cause, which was to raise funds for people with diabetes in the UK.

Later, she was employed as a Features Writer for the Journal Magazine. Her role involved writing about arts, human interest and travel articles for the Journal Magazine.
Still at Central Independent News and Media, Elsie worked as the Group Entertainment Editor, compiling and editing information for the entertainment supplement Your Time which was distributed across six different publications of Central Independent News and Media.
Elsie has also been a Senior Reporter for Tamworth Herald, another CIN outfit. Here, she worked with the reporting team, produced and wrote exclusives for the front page as well as features and stories for the weekly website and paper.

Since 2015, she is working for BBC in Nottingham as a Broadcast Journalist. Her role here is to write and produce content for the network in the East Midland Region. She also has completed training to work as a video journalist.

While working for Central Independent Media and News, Elsie secured an exclusive with MP Andrew Mitchell to discuss with him the Plebgate Scandal. This was a major interview since for four months, no other reporter got to have the chance to have a sit-down with the MP.

She also had the privilege of interviewing TV personality, author and Bake Off judge Paul Hollywood and Alfie Boe, an opera singer.
