I have followed Cristina Blackwell sporadically over the last four to six years, first in watching her videos posted on the Internet in which she served brilliantly as a weather reporter, delivering weather forecasts with a rare and unmatched optimism, and then—admittedly—a little more forwardly, in “befriending” her on her Instagram account.
Sadly, she is married (rather happily, it appears), with a very charming-looking little blonde-haired boy and a rather solidly built hockey player for a husband. But I do admit to sometimes wondering, “If only . . . “
As the great American writer F. Scott Fitzgerald would say, “So we beat on, boats against the current, borne ceaselessly back into the past.”
