- Bianca Nobilo was born in Auckland, New Zealand, in 1990 as the daughter of New Zealand’s professional golfer Frank Nobilo. Bianca is Frank’s daughter from his first marriage. Frank remarried in 1998 to Bianca’s stepmother, Selena Nobilo.
- Growing up, Nobilo had no siblings, while her father often lived overseas and her mother worked long hours as a nurse. As a consequence, she was incredibly close to her grandfather.
- Later, Bianca moved to the United Kingdom when her father started playing for the European Tour, but she is still very attached to her New Zealand upbringing and roots.
- From 2009 to 2012, Bianca attended the University of Warwick in Warwickshire, England. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History with a First Class Honours grade, the topmost distinction.

- Bianca began her professional career as a Defence and International Affairs researcher at the British House of Commons, which she did from August 2009 to April 2011.
- In 2011, she spent three months as the campaign manager for NO2AV (NOtoAV), a political campaign which aimed at convincing voters to not opt for the Alternative Vote in the 2011 referendum. The campaign triumphed in upholding the current voting system.
- Following that, from January 2011 to November 2013, Bianca spent two years as a Defence and Security Analyst for ASC Ltd.
- In October 2013, Nobilo joined the ranks of CNN as a writer and producer, a role in which she remained until October 2014.
- In March 2014, she returned to the House of Commons, first as a press officer until January 2015, and then as a parliamentary advisor until November 2015.

- Bianca’s grandfather Zenon Jakob Stanislaw Stolowski was originally from Poznan, Poland, and was training to be a Catholic priest, back in the 1930s. After the Germans invaded Poland, it was discovered that Zenon’s seminary was printing anti-Nazi pamphlets encouraging people to resist the cruel regime. As part of their suppression of the Catholic Church, Zenon was arrested as a Polish political prisoner and spent many years in the concentration camp in Auschwitz in horrible conditions. Her grandfather’s survival in Auschwitz inspired her commitment to journalism and giving a voice to the voiceless.
- Bianca has stated that she never plays golf with her father, citing being too similar when it comes to perfectionism and impatience as a cause.
