Lozoff hails from Montreal. She completed her education first at Villa Maria high school and later at Marianopolis College in Westmount, Quebec. She moved to Cape Town, South Africa, to model after she earned degrees in civil and common law from the University of Montreal.

She was hired by CityTV in 2012 to serve as the Montreal bureau reporter and cover local sports, including the Canadiens. She was the co-host of the “SportsNet Connected” magazine show and also served as a translator at news conferences for UFC fighter Georges St. Pierre.
After her mother’s condition improved, she returned to work in 2016, as a development officer in the McGill University Health Centre and the Montreal Jewish Public Library.
She yearned to be back in the sportscasting field; therefore, she grabbed the first prime opportunity that came her way. In October 2017, she was appointed as the rinkside reporter for AT&T, who owned the broadcasting rights for the Knights game.

Alyson hosts the weekly show “Knight Life” magazine show that premiered on AT&T and is a part of the pre-game studio show with Nick Gismondi and analyst Brad May.
As a reporter, she carries a spreadsheet to keep track of the players she has interacted with in order to ensure that she does not interview the same player again.
She also worked in the production during Meghan Markle’s 2016 advertising campaign with Canadian retailer Reitmans.

A self-admitted perfectionist, Lozoff tried her hand in acting in sixth grade after starring as Eliza Doolittle in “My Fair Lady.” She later went to become Miss Teen Canada in 2003 at age 17. The other pageants she participated in were – Miss Universe Canada 2005 (4th Runner-up), Miss Earth Canada 2006 (1st Runner-Up), Miss World Canada 2007 (1st Runner-up). She walked the ramp as a model for Project Runway Canada in 2009.
She was a victim of bullying during her school days. This could have been a major demotivation from progressing for any other person, but Lozoff was not the one to accept defeat easily. She transformed this hurdle into an opportunity and made this a platform for expressing her views. She extensively delivered anti-bullying speeches at high schools throughout Quebec and Ontario and became the spokesperson at a bullying prevention organization.

Lozoff is fluent in English and French languages.
Aly is married to her husband, Avy Edery. They have one child – a baby daughter, Shany Bella Edery, born in July 2021.

Ally is awesome! I am a huge Anaheim Ducks Fan and I just love watching Ally interview our players. She gets it! By that I mean the game, what’s happening? That is at the core when she interviews players. The players obviously respect her in return.
