- Alexis Marie Delchiaro was born in Sacramento, California, on August 3, 1981. From a young age, she decided that journalism would be her future!
- She studied at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) & graduated with a major in Communications and a minor in Spanish.
- While at university, Delchiaro was able to intern in Manhattan at Good Morning America, where she could put her early journalistic skills to use.
- After marrying her husband, Gabe, in 2012, the couple had aspirations of having children, but years of infertility struggles put a lot of strain on their marriage. During those trying years, the couple faced 2 miscarriages, 5 rounds of Clomid, 1 Intrauterine Insemination (IUI), and 3 IVF rounds. Gabe even had a Varicocele surgery for Gabe, and they failed one adoption.
- Gabe and Alexis appeared on the talk show “The Doctors,” which documented their struggle. Fortunately, in 2016, Alexis had a miraculous pregnancy (without any treatments) and gave birth to their first child Gigi. In the same year, they adopted a second child called Grant.
