- Alex Salvi was born in 1991 in a large family of accomplished musicians and lawyers. He was raised in Lake Zurich, Illinois, just outside of Chicago, by his parents Michael J. ‘Mike’ Salvi, (father, a lawyer by profession), and Debra ‘Debbie’ Salvi (mother).
- Alex has a brother, Jonathan Salvi, and a sister, Samantha Salvi.
- He attended Carmel Catholic High School in Mundelein, Illinois, and graduated in 2009.
- Following his graduation from Carmel Catholic High School, Alex attended the DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. He was there from 2009 to 2013 and achieved a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Political Economy.
- Following that, Alex moved to Valparaiso, Indiana, where he attended the Valparaiso University School of Law from 2013 to 2016. He achieved his Doctor of Law (Juris Doctor) degree in US law, legal studies, and jurisprudence. During his time there, he also got the opportunity to study abroad in Israel and Palestine, where he focused on International Humanitarian Law.
- From 2016 to 2019, Alex studied at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, where he achieved another degree, this time a Master of Science in Journalism.

- From 2016 to 2017, Alex was also a reporter and producer for Annenberg TV News.
- Since September 2017, Alex has been an anchor and executive producer of the After Hours show on the One America News Network (OANN). After Hours is a broadcast show that airs daily and in which Alex gets to interview politicians and specialists on the day’s most pressing topics.

- Alex is one of the forty grandchildren of the beloved late Marita Salvi, the matriarch of the Salvi clan.
- Most of Alex’s relatives attended the Carmel Catholic High School, the same high school he attended himself. The school’s main gym is named after Alex’s paternal uncle, Patrick Salvi, a malpractice lawyer.
- One of Alex’s favorite hobbies is to watch baseball. He supports the Chicago Cubs.
- He first fell into the world of journalism during his time in law school at Valparaiso University, when he became Editor in Chief of the Valparaiso Law Blog, a news outlet as well as a jurisprudence watchdog.

So sad to know that AFTER HOURS will be gone and so is Alex Dalvi. He is genuinely one of OAN best anchor the youthful energy that radiates his intellectual personality. I was glued on OAN since Alex had his own show 5 days a week. He will be missed. All the best for your next journey!
I applaud your use of words but not always sure your “reporting” is based on facts. However, it is important to hear every side and every side should have their feet held to the fire of truth.

I really enjoyed Alex Salvi on OANN. I was so sad to hear the news that he is not there anymore. Praying that he is doing well and that we see him soon doing what he does best. Hopefully another news network will give a chance. He deserves it!!
Today only I came to know that Alex Salvi is no more with OAN. He is the Best, very thorough, knowledgeable, listens to his guests, unlike Tucker Carlson. I was always dying to watch his 7.00 am show, but God it will be very hard to know he is no more with OAN. Any idea where we can watch him or listen to him?
