After extensive training, Adele thought she was ready to ride professionally, but Harvey Smith felt she was a bit too small to be jumping. Instead, Harvey chose to send her to trainer Richard Fahey where she spent one full summer training.
She then became Mick Easterby’s apprentice, and it wasn’t long before she was riding professionally and taking part in local competitions.
Adele later worked for the late trainer Dandy Nicholls and picked up most of her wins under his tutelage.

In 2008, she participated in the Scottish Sprint Cup and picked up her biggest win while riding on the Masta Plasta.
After years as a professional rider with over 100 rides and a total of 12 wins, Adele got married and had her daughter Scarlett.
