In the year 2000, I had a very bad accident at work, so I was forced to take ill-health retirement, at the age of 46.
I was in so much pain, I had to sleep (when I could) downstairs for over 8 months. I will never forget that it was Alison Young, that kept me going. QVC used to be on live all night and Alison was on a lot I always felt like there was someone else up with me all night. She will always be my bright star.
