Nupur Daithankar is the best-known as a Marathi dancer and actress.
Born in Pune, Nupur has been trained as a dancer since her childhood and has aspired to be an actor and a Bharatnatyam Dancer of high repute.

Nupur’s parents’ names are Dhananjay (father) and Swati Daithankar (mother).
Her father is a tabla / santoor artist and music composer. Her mother is a well-recognized Bharat Natyam artist, who has performed in the U.S.A. & many major cities in India.

Her parents’ program ‘Nupur-Nad’ (a combined concert of BharatNatyam & Santoor recital) has been presented on the prestigious platforms throughout India & abroad. In India — Pune, Mumbai, Aurangabad, Nipani, Chennai, Goa, Jalgaon, Nagpur. Abroad the program has been performed across U.S.A.—organized by B.M.M.—2000, and in Switzerland in July 2002.
Nupur’s brother’s name is Ninad Daithankar.

Nupur has represented the state of Tamilnadu through dance. She has also done an ad-film done for Tamilnadu Tourism & govt.
She has performed throughout India on prestigious dance festivals at Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Tirupati, Punjab, Rajasthan, Goa, Nasik, Kolhapur, Ahmadabad, Nagpur, Jalgaon, Solapur, Satara, Pune, etc. & abroad in countries like Singapore, Japan, USA, England & Canada.
