Nandita Dhuri initially started her career with inter college competitions for nataks and ekankikas. She also worked at a regular job as a RJ and voiceover artist for some time but later moved to acting completely.
She has also done nataks like Baya Daar Ughad, Amcha Hiche Prakaran and Sada Saduchi Bayko Aani Urlela Jag.
She has won a state award as well as the Zee Gaurav Puraskar for her theatre performances. With the natak sanstha Avishkar, she learned her theatre skills.
She is most known for her role of the mother in the hit movie Elizabeth Ekadashi. The producers Paresh Mokashi saw one of her plays, when he decided to cast her for the role. Another big movie role for her was playing the role of Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar’s wife in the 2018 movie Aani Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar.
On TV, she has played the lead role of Laxmi Malvankar in the Zee Marathi Show Mazhe Pati Saubhagyavati. This was her first TV show as a main character, and she starred opposite Vaibhav Mangale. The serial was not a big hit & was taken off the channel soon.
Nandita is a big foodie & likes to eat fish.
