Nandu Madhav (Madhav is his dad’s name). He goes by that name because he has 3 surnames. His mother’s name is Parvati. Born in Beed district he completed his graduation in B.SC and Law from a college in Aurangabad. He moved to Mumbai in the 1990s.
Nandu Madhav is most famous for acting in the lead role in the movie ‘Harishachandrachi factory,’ India’s entry to the Osacr Awards in 2010. A well known, theatre and film artiste, he has worked for over 20 plays, in a career of close to 25+ years.
In 2014 elections, he fought for the Aam Admi Party as a candidate from Beed and lost, scoring only 4000 votes. He lives in the Goregaon suburb of Mumbai. Known for his social awareness, he directed a group of Jalna farmers in the natak – SHIVAJI UNDERGROUND IN BHIMNAGAR MOHALA
In 2016, he appeared in a Google Ad based on a dad-son relation, which gained a lot of popularity and went viral.
