Jitendra Joshi is a popular Marathi actor.
His height is 5 feet 9 inches. Along with acting, Jitendra writes excellent Marathi kavita and a particular one, named ‘Aai’ has gathered a lot of fame. He has also written tunes for ‘Bokya Satbande,’ ‘Jatra’ and hindi movies such as ‘Virrudh’ and ‘Striker.’
He is a versatile actor having played positive, comedy roles as well as a complete opposite, the villian Sainath in the 2013 blockbuster Duniyadari. In 2016, he played the lead role in the multi-starrer movie Ventilator.
Prior to joining the world of acting and films, Jitendra worked at his uncles Electrical repairs shop and also distributed news papers. He later moved to Pune where he watched a number of Ekankikas. The acting of Subodh Bhave and Lokesh Gupte were an inspiration to him. Thereafter, he joined Satish Tare’s group as a music operator. Three Cheers was his first Marathi play.
He loves going for long walks, when he is stressed and values friendship as one of the most important values in life.
