- Garrett’s acting career began in 2002, where he used his physical strength to his advantage and landed a role on the reality competition show Dog Eat Dog. The show features 6 contestants who go head to head in various physical challenges, then evaluate each other on at the end of the day.
- In 2003, Garrett got a small role in a comedy film called The Blues.
- He didn’t get another major role until 2007, when he appeared as a football player on the TV movie Football Wives.
