Mary Bruce is an American journalist. She is the Senior Congressional Correspondent for ABC News and used to be a reporter for FDC Reports.

- Mary Bruce was born on May 25, 1983, in Washington DC, where she was also raised. She has a sibling sister. She grew up in D.C., and her whole family continues to stay there.

Car Accident :
- In 2010, Mary was injured in a car accident alongside ABC co-worker Abbie Boudreau. The two were in a sedan and were traveling to Virginia for a story when they were rear-ended by a semi-truck while stopped at a red light.
- Mary received minor injuries, mostly scratches and slight bruising, and she was released from the hospital after a 4-hour stay. Abbie, however, was suspected of head trauma and was required to stay in for observation overnight.
- It was later revealed that the semi truck’s driver was under the influence of illegal drugs, bringing to light the ongoing issue of substance abuse in the trucking industry.
- The two women received an undisclosed amount in a settlement six months after the accident.
